LOCTITE® 2432 is a blue, medium strength, thixotropic anaerobic threadlocker formulated for sensitive and passive metals. It features low sulphur and halogen content, cures without primer, and allows disassembly with standard hand tools .

Fixture time approximately 20 minutes; full cure in 24 hours under typical conditions

LOCTITE® 2432 is designed to lock and seal threaded fasteners in applications where removal with basic tools is required. Its thixotropic medium viscosity avoids dripping and ensures internal cure between closely fitting metal parts. The low halogen and sulphur formula protects sensitive alloys—such as stainless steel and titanium—especially where corrosion, galvanisation or contamination are concerns .

PRO TIP: Clean surfaces with suitable solvent; priming not required for most passive metals but Activators 7471/7649 can be used for added speed
Apply a full 360° bead to male thread, assemble, torque to spec, allow 24 hours for maximum performance; disassembly may be done with hand tools or mild heat (~250 °C)
